Field School 2005            

Session I:  September 5 - 10

Session II: September 11 - 16

The Popham Field School instructs students in the basic techniques of field archaeology within the historical context of the Popham Colony. The daily fieldwork is supplemented with evening seminars and workshops.

  • The field school is run by the Friends of Maine State Museum.
  • Participation is limited to 15 students a week.
  • Tuition is $700 per week ($600 for Maine State Museum Members) and includes room and board.
  • Registration deadline is August 6, 2005.
